Our client Camille approached Tristan Toms, Design Manager for help as her rental property had been severally damaged by tenants. The property had holes in the walls and broken wardrobe doors. It was also looking very tried and dated and not in a fit state to sell.
On inspection, we discovered there was substantial water damage causing woodrot to the kitchen and surrounding rooms including window frames. In our report, we concluded the damage was caused by a faulty dishwasher tap leading to a substantial water leak resulting in over $30k damage to the property.
Throughout the process, Tristan was in daily contact with Camille to help her with the insurance claim on the kitchen and the water damaged rooms. Based on our report and an onsite meeting with the Insurance assessor the claim was approved, and our team were ready to begin.
The bathroom renovation and repairs to the home went extremely well. So much so, that Camille, had confidence to renovate the kitchen and laundry as well.
The total renovation project involved two bathrooms, kitchen, laundry, plus the replacement of window frames, ceiling beams and new floors throughout the house. We also added in new sliding wardrobe doors that were smashed by previous tenants.
Taylor, our Interior Designer prepared complex plans and helped Camille choose the best products to provide a great result and attract buyers. This tired ex-rental property has now been transformed and ready for sale. We wish the new owners all the best and thank Camille for her support.
